UK Firewood Delivery Information

To ensure that your delivery runs smoothly please take a moment to read this important delivery information.

For local deliveries we use our van to deliver your logs as close to your log store as possible.

For large national deliveries we use a third party pallet delivery network, for smaller deliveries we use UPS national courier service.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

FREE PALLET DELIVERY

Standard 2 day pallet delivery is free to UK the UK mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands), next day delivery and Saturday delivery is charged at cost.

SATURDAY PALLET DELIVERY

Saturday deliveries can be requested for both AM and PM time slots. The cost of this service is ___ per pallet. For a Saturday delivery your order must be placed no later than Wednesday – any orders requesting a Saturday delivery that are placed on a Thursday or Friday they will be delivered on the Saturday of the following week.

UPS SHIPPING

Orders of smaller and lighter products such as kiln dried kindling and eco-firelighters are shipped using a 2 day UPS courier service.

Pallet dimension examples

Small crate of kiln dried logs: 1.2 metres (wide) x 1 metre (deep) x 0.8 metres (high)

Large crate of kiln dried logs: 1.2 metres (wide) x 1 metre (deep) x 1.4 metres (high)

50 bags of kiln dried logs: 1.2 metres (wide) x 1 metre (deep) x 1.25 metres (high)

80 bags of kiln dried logs: 1.2 metres (wide) x 1 metre (deep) x 1.75 metres (high)

Delivery vehicle

National pallet delivery is made using our third party haulier, using a 7.5 ton truck with a tail lift. Your goods are delivered on a pallet and left as close to your front door or log store as possible.

For delivery of smaller products – for example kiln dried kindling and eco-firelighters – we use a UPS 2 day courier service.

Delivery time

Time of delivery is between 8 am and 8 pm unless a Saturday am or pm delivery has been specified.

Access requirement

Most of our orders require pallet delivery, the pallet is moved from the delivery vehicle using a pallet pump truck pushed by hand. These pump trucks cannot operate over gravel or grass.
